A Taste for the Finer Things: The Girl Behind the Blog

Enter the world of a girl who dreams daily of wearing couture dresses, can run in super high heels, loves the thrill of getting new magazines; a girl who is trying to figure out what direction to take in her career and possesses a strong work ethic which pushes her to challenge herself daily. The finer things in life are not just about expensive trinkets, gorgeous ball gowns, or high status events. Often, they are the things we often overlook in daily life, those things we take for granted; beautiful, natural, and little things that end up making all the difference when it comes down to it. This blog is dedicated to exploring the issues surrounding the 'finer' things in life, from the eyes of a conservative girl in an ever changing world.

Cool and Comfy!

Cool and Comfy

Cool and Comfy by Elizabeth Hebeler featuring a sequin cardigan

I'm falling in love with this cool weather! Get ready to sparkle while still being comfortable among the autumn leaves by pairing glittering sweaters and cushiony boots. Too cold for a pair of shorts but too warm for a cute peacoat, now is the time of the year to break out your most adorable sweaters and show them off! You can also easily dress up any plain sweater by adding intricate and sparkling jewelry or carrying a textured bag like the ones pictured above.

Now, I just wish I could jump into this picture like a pile of leaves and come out wearing it all!

Have you found any cute sweaters anywhere? Or have any more tricks of the trade to dress them up? I'd love to know! :)

I love that red sweater-- so cute! This year has been a bit disappointing for me on the sweater front, but I love the sparkle and neutral trends I've seen around.
